I am a tenured CNRS research scientist in the ISMM (Sound Music Movement Interaction) group at IRCAM.
My research includes computational interaction, interactive music systems and movement sonification.
I did my Ph.D. (computer science and mathematics) at Télécom Paris, under the supervision of Olivier Rioul, Michel Beaudouin-Lafon and Yves Guiard, using computational methods to design Human-Computer Interaction. My Ph.D. thesis brings Information Theory to HCI, captures the uncertainty and information in the communication process and explores the notion of combining human intelligence with machine power.
I then did a one-year postdoc with Frédéric Bevilacqua at IRCAM and a 6-month postdoc with Michel Beaudouin-Lafon at Université Paris-Saclay before joining CNRS as a research scientist.
